Full Moon in Virgo Guidance

Full moons are always chaotic, unsettling, or emotional. They can be felt more than other cycles because of the moon’s full energetic “charge” at this time. At this stage of the cycle, the moon is literally full…of light or energy.

All the good, all the bad, everything in general that has transpired over the last 2 weeks is gathered up by this moon phase. It marks the time of month we celebrate things made whole but also begin releasing what needs to be shed.

It’s when things come to a head and the energy finally breaks. We have to collect some things, experiences and lessons and also be irritated by their presence so that the conditions are set for us to finally release what’s not working.

Virgo is the fixer of the zodiac. There are many beautiful qualities associated with this energy like having a heart of service, being detailed, orderly, hardworking and especially hygienic and healthy.

However, in its lower nature, this sign represents what (or who) we slip into to the habit of trying to endlessly fix, heal or help. There is an underlying desire for perfection when it comes to this energy, a tendency to find flaws and create problems so there is always something to stay busy with and fix.

Hasta is the star with the shakti of manifestation. It gives the increased ability to take something we hold in mind to being held in the palm of our hand. Not by mystery and positive thinking. Through skill, precision, detail and consistency to the craft (or order of business) at hand.

So this is when we take a look at what we’ve manifested, for the better and the worse. What has been the thing(s) or person(s) you’ve been preoccupied with that has led to positive outcomes and some not so positive outcomes?

Celebrate, pause and enjoy what you’ve positively manifested. Also reflect and be honest about what (or who) you have gotten overly fixated on trying to perfect, help, heal or fix. Starting now and over the coming weeks, it will be time to release those things before the next new moon.
